Our Story
Being first matters. When Tru Salon Suites opened in 2014, it pioneered a brand new idea in Canada, the beauty and wellness suite concept, and set the standard every other suite owner has been measured against ever since. Being first means we didn't follow a template; we built one from the inside out, so salon professionals everywhere could become business owners too.
A salon owner for more than 35 years, Marjorie Clarke is the trailblazer, the visionary, the pioneer who established the beauty and wellness suite concept in Canada. She changed the industry, opening the eyes of salon professionals everywhere to their own worth, their options, and everything their careers could become. Most of all, she gave salon professionals the confidence to become independent, to be self-employed without the financial risk or investment of traditional salon ownership.
Her partner brings a rare combination of strengths to that vision, advanced degrees in Business, Commerce and Law, so every professional is guided through the legal, financial and business side of going independent, step by step, with confidence instead of uncertainty.
